Back up keeper Wes Coles has been transferred to Division One outfit Bentleigh Greens. Coles was undoubtedly the best back up keeper in the league but at 28 years old he felt he needed first team football.

Coles attracted the attention of Premier League high flyers Kingston City just prior to the Premier League transfer deadline. Amongst other clubs Northcote City were chasing his signature also. Wes was professional throughout his time at the club and a pleasure to deal with. We wish him every success at his new club.

Replacing Coles will be 18 year old Michael Fiorenza who comes to us from Division 3 outfit Albion Rovers. Fiorenza's transfer was held up by his former club waiting for their represenatives signature who had been unavailable for some weeks. Coach Joe Montemurro sees Fiorenza as a keeper of the future with years of development ahead. We welcome Michael to our club.
