Barry Plant Real Estate
Barry Plant was formed in July 1999 with the merger of two of Melbourne's most respected real estate networks - Barry Plant Real Estate and E J Doherty Real Estate. Both groups had earned an enviable reputation over the years for consistently obtaining excellent results for their clients and providing outstanding service.

E J Doherty opened its doors in a small office in Coburg on 1 July 1958 and at the time of the merger with Barry Plant, it had a network of 16 offices located throughout the northern and north-western suburbs.

Because of the high regard in which Barry Plant is held within the industry, a number of highly professional real estate agencies in many parts of have joined the group since the merger, which has resulted in a network of more than 60 offices serving Melbourne's real estate needs.
