Sunshine George Cross juniors began their 2010 pre-season training last Friday evening. Judging by the interest at the first training session the Georgie juniors are in for a big year. There is however some vacancies for some of the junior sides, and we encourage youngsters wishing to trial with the Georgies to contact the Secretary Teresa Gatt on 0419 006 123 for more details. The Junior Committee also invites clubs to participate in the 2010 pre-season tournament being held in march. Details of this event can be found in the junior section. |

The 2010 Social Calendar has been set giving our supporters a variety of functions to attend. Seafood lovers are well catered for with three planned over the course of the year. We kick off with the Membership Launch on Sunday February 14 at the club rooms. The program can be checked out in the Social events section. |

A target for 200 fully paid up members has been set by the committee for 2010. It is an ambitious target, but the committee is determined to achieve this target. Now that training has started more and more supporters are expected to come down to Chaplin Reserve. There will be a personal approach on every visitor to the club and we are hoping the response from our supporters will be positive. Our club is only as strong as its membership base, and we encourage all supporters to become members in 2010. We urge you to join imediately and encourage your friends and relatives to do likewise. |
