Strong Striker Jayden Mercieca doubled the advantage in the second half before the Saints late rally earned them a goal very late in the game. Young 16 year old goalkeeper Johnathan Harboglou (on the left) earned his first call up to the team and excelled on his debut.

TEAM SELECTION FOR SATURDAY

Robert Santilli, Brandon Zaffina and Adrian Logozzo missed last week's Cup game, but all are included in the senior squad for the big clash against St. Albans on Saturday. Jacob Attard makes his return from nose surgery with the under 20 side, a side that will also feature Samuel Antoniadis, Baran Kockaya and Ziyad Markous.

LEON OSEI DEPARTS

Sunshine George Cross striker Leon Osei who was signed this season has left the club and returned to his former club Cairnlea. The striker missed the opening 2 matches because of a carry over suspension from the 2014 season and has played the past two matches. He scored one of the penalty kicks in last Saturday's FFA Cup clash against North Sunshine Eagles. We wish Leon all the best.
