After a poor start to the season coach Chris Taylor was last night sacked by the committee of Sunshine George Cross.
The results of the last three weeks and the lack of points was enough to convince the board to sever Taylor's three year tenure at the club. The committee are now in the process of interviewing applicants for the coaching job with an appointment expected to be made in time for this weeks clash with South Melbourne. In other news striker Marinos Gasparis has also moved on. Gasparis was transferred yesterday in time for him to make his debut for the Preston Lions in their 2-0 away defeat to Bulleen. |
