ROUND 4 PREVIEW PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 23 February 2006
This Sunday, Chaplin Reserve hosts the Round 4 clash between old N.S.L rivals Sunshine George Cross and the Melbourne Knights. Many have predicted a marked improvement for the Knights this season and most expect a top 6 finish for the fellow Sunshine based club.

The Round 26 fixture last season at Knights Stadium between the two clubs will not be forgotten in a hurry by loyal Cross fans, as the point gained that afternoon ensured survival in the Premier League.
The clubs go in to battle this week with Georgie coming off a one-nil loss against the Essendon Royals and with the Knights emerging victorious against Richmond. That win propelled the Knights up to second position on the table.
Come down to Chaplin Reserve for the Georgies' second home game of the season. Another good crowd is expected. Get in early to grab your copy of the official match day magazine 'The Cross' and also watch the always entertaining Under 21 game.

This week's other games:
Two of the more fancied clubs clash this weekend with Oakleigh taking on Kingston. Another big game is the South Melbourne vs Preston fixture. Last week's big winners Heidelberg are away to Frankston Pines whilst the undefeated Altona Magic host Essendon. Green Gully are at home to Richmond and last placed Fawkner-Whittlesea travel to Bulleen.
