For the fifth season in a row the Georgie's season is in the balance on the last day. The last three years have been to stave off relegtion from the VPL , the previous two for promotion or a State League Championship. This week more than ever the team needs it's supporters to help lift the side to get the required victory over Richmond to stay amongst the elite of Victorian Football.

With Martin John, Nick Kalmar and Ralph Napoli all out suspended and question marks over the fitness of Leigh Tsoumerkas, Matthew Cini and the highly doubtful inclusion of last year's Best and Fairest winner Brett Gilmour, the squad is down to it's bare bones. The vocal support of fans can never be underestimated so we need you, the Sunshine George Cross fans, to act as a 12th man.
The club asks that you wear red and white on the day to make our support to our players as visible as possible.
