The club was pleased with the huge attendance at
Mid-Season Meeting held on Thursday night. What was also very pleasing was the number of junior parents in attendance that provided the club with a different outlook from what had become customary. President Darren Farrugia welcomed everyone and stressed on every person in the audience of their responsibilities to the club when attending a football match. Mr. Farrugia also said he was pleased with the signing of Eddie Soares and is looking forward to seeing another favourite son Kevin Muscat coming back to the club. The ground situation is still in the balance, with the club awaiting a result from important discussions currently being held between Council and Government. The club should be know the outcome of these talks over the next four weeks. The club's financial report was provided, as well as the team's performance and a junior wrap. Overall it was a very constructive meeting with many positives discussions taking place. |
