The Georgies kick off round 14 with a trip to Geelong on Friday night,

to take on North Geelong Warriors at Elcho Park in Lara. With both sides in the lower half of the ladder this a must win game for both sides, and nothing but a full blooded clash is expected. This is a big opportunity for Sunshine George Cross to widen the gap to 6 points over a side that is in the relegation zone. Every Sunshine player knows a win will keep the team in touch with the teams above, while a lose would drag them back in the relegation mire. A lose will also ruin all the good work achieved over the past 7 rounds, where the team has remained unbeaten since round 8. The Georgies' form against teams in the top four has been excellent, and it must continue against so called the lower sides. No match is easy in this division and our team has to treat every team with respect. The under 21 kick off at 6.30 and the seniors at 8.30.
