Five new names have been added to the squad. Locally Goran Petrovic an attacking midfielder from South Melbourne and Daniel Rocco a defensive midfielder or central defender with NSL experience from the Melbourne Knights. Srecko Mitrovic who has been playing in Italy for the last five seasons with Ascoli and most recently AS Vittoria has also been snapped by Joe Montemurro. If reports are to be believed the 22 year old is one ear marked for the A-League. The club is awaiting his international clearance which should come through in the next week.
Finally in a coup two Paraguayan first division players a central defender Sergio Jimenez and a striker Julio Martinez have had paperworked lodged this afternoon to transfer them from their club De Mayo to join the Georgies pending visas and International clearances.
Petrovic and Rocco will be cleared to play this week.
