Sunshine George Cross tackle the Bulleen Zebras at the Veneto Club in Monday night football to conclude Round 22 of the Vodafone Cup.

In Round 21 Sunshine George Cross went down 1-4 against league leaders Oakleigh. Bulleen also lost, going down 0-2 against the Melbourne Knights. That loss was Bulleen's third in a row and sees them slip out of the top 6.

The inconsistent Bulleen held their spot in the Top 6 for many rounds even though they have only registered one win from the last seven games. The Zebras have also drawn a blank in their last two games, failing to find the back of the net.

The season's first encounter between the Georgies and the Zebras at Chaplin Reserve was a one sided affair. Georgie dominated throughout the ninety minutes but just could not manage to score as the game ended nil all.

Bulleen are currently in ninth position on the league table with 26 points. At present, Georgie are stuck in the relegation zone four points adrift from safety with five rounds remaining.

In other games: Friday night: Richmond v South Melbourne. Saturday: Frankston Pines v Melbourne Knights. Sunday: Oakleigh v Altona Magic, Green Gully v Essendon and Heidelberg v Preston. Monday night: Fawkner-Whittlesea v Kingston.
