In Round 19 of the Vodafone Cup, Sunshine George Cross take on Altona Magic at Chaplin Reserve.

Richmond ran out one nil winners against the Georgies in Round 18 last Friday night in what was a one sided affair with the home team dominating. Altona Magic got back to the winners list against the Melbourne Knights in a one nil victory.

Altona Magic were too good in the first meeting emerging 2-0 winners at Paisley Park. Since the Georgies' return to the top flight, the Magic have won all three contests. (2-1, 2-1, 2-0). The Ken Murphy coached club had a great first half of the season only losing the one game and currently sit third on the League table with 31 points.

The Magic however have only managed two wins in the past seven games (both 1-0) and have only won two games away from home.

Altona's sharp shooter Saso Becvinovski has 11 goals for the season and has been jostling for top spot on the Golden Boot table with Kingston's Michael Curcija (12 goals) all season.

The goals seem to be drying up for Georgie and with only three points from the past four games, Richards and co need to start finding the back of the net again to halt a slide down the table. Home ground advantage could play a part in this game with the Georgies only losing the once from nine home fixtures to date.

In other games: Friday night: Kingston v Frankston Pines. Sunday: Melbourne Knights v South Melbourne, Preston v Bulleen and Heidelberg v Richmond. Monday night: Essendon v Oakleigh and Fawkner-Whittlesea v Green Gully.
