Sunshine George Cross

Billy Copeland, Bobby Adams, Tony Vella, Lothar Kastner, & David Goldie relieved many great moments when the met each other for the first time in many years at Chaplin Reserve on Thursday 19 January. The players shared many jokes as well as many "Do You Remember when moments"? from their playing days with George Cross from the early 1960's. It was a fantastic night enjoyed by all in attendance and the club would like to thank the players for making the effort to attend. It has been 48 years since George Cross won the coveted Australia Cup in 1964 and it would be fitting to reunite every player from that famous team with a much bigger function for the 50th anniversary in two years time.
