The NPL junior season kicks off on Sunday with Sunshine George Cross hosting the 6 visiting Bendigo teams to Brookside Reserve. It will be an all day program with the under 12 game getting the ball rolling at 9.00am and the under 18 playing the final match at 3.15pm. DISAPPOINTING CUP EXIT

The Georgies were knocked out by North Sunshine Eagles 4-2 on penalties after the two teams sensationally drew 6-6 at the end of extra time. It was a heart-breaking defeat for the Cross after the team came back from 4-1 down to make it 4-4 and send the game into extra-time.

Sunshine George Cross juniors will be hosting Hume City on Sunday at Brookside in the final practice matches before the juniors season gets under way next weekend. The under 9 start proceedings at 9.30am and details of all matches can be viewed in the Junior Page. Supporters are most welcome to attend.
