Kingston City Down SGCFC 5-2

This was always going to be a tough game away to Kingston on a Monday night away from home being played at The Grange Reserve.

Our boys started well and should have been awarded a penalty within five minutes of play when Delfin Mosibe was brought down in the box which looked to be a clear penalty but some how the referee did not give it.

Under 20's v's Box Hill

After a fantastic display of football the previous week against Dandenong City,it seemed as the boys were full of confidence leading up to this weeks game against a very strong Box Hill.

Two changes from Dandenong's game were Oliver Bradley (injured) and Dejan Filiposki (injured).

The boys started the game trying to control the tempo and possession, found themselves quickly 1-0 up with a brilliant strike from inside the 18yard box from Justin Cutajar.  Minutes later Maksim Golijanin hit the crossbar from a long range shot. Although Sunshine took the lead, it was Box Hill that grew in confidence through there great ball movement and player movement all across the park.

Sunshine heading to half time 1-0 up.

The second half started the same way as the first with Box Hill dominating possession and really making Sunshine work hard  .Box Hill leveling the game 1-1 through a shot inside the 6 yard box leaving Dean Hilli (GK) no chance.
With the game coming to a close, a lack of concentration in the defensive third gifted Box Hill there second goal and the 3 points.

As a group we felt we let ourselves down, as we all know our Effort and Discipline wasn't there for most of the game. We walk away lick our wounds and prepare ourselves for the next game.
