SGX travelled away to Dandenong City and came away with a point in a 1 all draw. There were some anxious moments after Dandenong hit the lead early in the first half but an equalizer from Michael Kelly in the second half put things on level terms. Things looked gloomy after a penalty was awarded to the home side deep into the second half but Martin John stepped up to the plate a pulled off a save to ensure SGX walked away with a vital point. This weeks game is against newly promoted side Dandenong City who have picked up 1 point from the opening 2 rounds.
The Georgies will be looking to maintain their perfect start and gain another precious 3 points.

NEW SEASON KICKS OFF

The long awaited 2012 State League 1st division season kicks of this weekend with Sunshine George Cross travelling up the road to face near neighbour Western Suburbs in the local derby.
