UNDER 21: N.T.C. 2 SUNSHINE GEORGE CROSS 1. Our under 21 put up a gallant effort before going down 2-1 to N.T.C. The georgies fielded a very young team with most of the boys coming from Sam Borg's under 18 team. Coach Joe Sweeney described the match as ' very good game of football.' The goal scorer was Christopher Dib. SENIORS: N.T.C. 1 SUNSHINE GEORGE CROSS 1. A youthfull looking Georgie outfit was more than a match for the N.T.C. in this fast paced 1-1 at the Olympic Village. Daniel Sweeney gave the Cross an early lead and it should have been wrapped up for the Cross before N.T.C. equalised from the penalty spot 5 muinutes from full time.
